Christian is co-founder and Managing Partner of Oakley Advisory Limited. Christian founded Oakley Capital Corporate Finance in July 2007 after spending ten years with Investec’s investment banking division. During his time at Investec, Christian was a telecoms and technology equity analyst for six years, working on numerous IPOs and fundraisings, and winning awards from Reuters, Institutional Investor and Starmine. Aged 29 he became Investec’s Head of Research. At Oakley, Christian holds relationships with many of Europe’s leading listed Telecoms, Technology and Online companies and leads the firm’s equity capital markets efforts. Christian has a BA from Oxford University.

Chris co-founded Oakley Advisory and Oakley Capital Corporate Finance. Chris previously worked at Investec Investment Banking for 10 years, as head of Telecoms Media and Technology in Corporate Finance where he led numerous M&A deals and IPOs and prior to this as head of Telecoms equity research. Chris was previously a financial journalist for 10 years, latterly as Business Correspondent for the Independent Newspaper and previously with BBC News, covering business and economics for radio and TV. Daniel joined Oakley Advisory in March 2009 having previously worked in the City for 12 years. He focuses on Hosting and Managed Services, Data Centres and Digital Media sub-sectors, where he has worked with leading companies and has extensive transaction experience.

Christian joined Oakley Advisory in January 2015. At Oakley he focuses on mobile, fibre, B2B telecoms and managed services businesses as well as fast growing companies in the digital and online space. He works with a range of private and public clients. Christian’s recent deals include the sale of Niu to CSI, the sale of Comapi to dotdigital plc, Citfyfibre’s acquisition of entanet, the sale of esendex to HgCapital and Gigaclear’s fundraise of £11m.

Prior to joining Oakley, Christian worked for Telefonica Digital and was responsible for leading the TEF Ventures (Corporate Venture Capital) arm in Europe as well as leading its Global Partnership team. Before Telefonica Digital, Christian worked for O2 in the UK with over 10 years’ experience across mobile and ICT M&A, corporate development, strategy, sales and operations. Paul is an advisor to Oakley Advisory and joined the business in April 2015. Paul spent over 15 years with Cazenove as a telecoms and media analyst and was one of Cazenove’s youngest ever partners. He won numerous awards from Reuters and Starmine and was Head of the Number One ranked European telecoms research team as ranked by the Institutional Investor in 2011. Paul left J.P. Morgan Cazenove in 2011 and became an investor and non-executive director of various small telecoms companies. He also spent a year with Morgan Stanley in 2014 helping their Select Risk equity trading business. Paul has a BSc from Durham University in Maths and is a qualified accountant.

Anthony joined Oakley in 2012, and has over 11 years’ TMT corporate finance experience. Prior to Oakley, Anthony worked in the TMT advisory teams at HSBC and RBS/ABN AMRO. He has worked on a number of M&A, equity and debt capital market transactions across telecoms, software, hosting and online. Notable transactions include advising CNS on the sale to Six Degrees, Inflexion on its acquisition of Comparison Technologies Limited, GoDaddy on the sale of PlusServer to BC Partners,  Infinity on the sale of its Stockley Park Data Centre to Zenium, advising Telecity on its offer by Equinix and the demergers of C&W and Carphone Warehouse. Victoria joined Oakley in 2013 to focus on ECM and public and private fundraising. Since joining, Victoria has advised on a range of public transactions, including the IPOs of Manx Telecom, Just Eat, Zegona Communications and Time Out, and additional follow on fundraisings including Sepura’s acquisition of Teltronic, Maintel’s acquisition of Azzurri and Zegona’s acquisition of Telecable. Victoria has also advised on a variety of private fundraising transactions, with a focus on UK telecoms infrastructure. In addition, Victoria provides ongoing capital markets advice to the Oakley retained client base.

Prior to this, Victoria worked at Panmure Gordon, where she advised small and mid-cap corporate clients, predominantly in the technology sector. Victoria has a BSc (Hons) from Durham University in Natural Sciences and an LL.B and Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, specialising in Corporate and Commercial Law.

Marc joined Oakley in 2013 and has since completed more than 15 transactions across telecoms, technology, and IT managed services. Recent transactions include advising G3 on its investment by Apiary Capital, advising Solar on its sale to Wavenet, advising Content and Code on its sale to IT Lab, and advising Imagine Communications on its investment from Brookfield.

Marc joined Oakley in May 2014 and focuses on public company takeovers and advising online businesses. Recent public takeovers include advising the board of Manx Telecom plc on the offer by Basalt Infrastructure Partners, the board of Tax Systems plc on the offer by Bowmark Capital and Daisy on its recommended offer for Alternative Networks, as well as on Daisy’s take private in 2015. In the online space, Marc advised Oakley Capital on the sales of Facile.it to EQT, Parship and Verivox to ProSieben, and on the IPO of Time Out. Marc started his corporate finance career at Deloitte before spending 2½ years on secondment to the Takeover Panel where he oversaw approximately 300 transactions governed by the City Code.

He is a member of the working group on takeovers of the Corporate Finance Faculty of the ICAEW and has a First Class Honours degree in History with French from Bristol University.
