Oakley Advisory Limited (“Oakley”), the independent corporate finance firm offering specialist advice across the TMT sector, has advised KPN on the sale of NLDC, its data centre subsidiary, to a fund managed by DWS Infrastructure.

NLDC operates six carrier neutral data centres across the Netherlands, with a total of 26MW of IT power capacity. Three of the data centres are located in the Amsterdam area and three in regional hotspots in Eindhoven, Rotterdam and Groningen. The sale follows the separation and demerger of NLDC into a separate subsidiary in 2017.

DWS Infrastructure is part of DWS, the independent, listed asset manager which is majority-owned by Deutsche Bank.

The Oakley team was led by Daniel Havercroft, Anthony Yaneza and Alexander Beaudet.

Daniel Havercroft, Oakley Partner, commented:

We are delighted to have worked with the KPN and NLDC team on the sale of NLDC. The NLDC sale demonstrates Oakley’s deep sector knowledge, extensive network in the data centre and digital infrastructure sector and its expertise in carve-out transactions.
